GBRS Split Chest Rig

The GBRS Split Chest Rig is designed for maximum freedom of movement, comfort, and efficiency during both operational use and intensive training. Thanks to its split-front design, the rig can be opened and closed quickly, which is ideal for vehicle use, long missions, or when you need to switch between configurations quickly.

The MX042 Plate Carrier stands out with its laser cuts on the front and back, and a multiaxial laminate. This material with laser-cuts instead of webbing ensures less weight and minimal water absorption.

Shoulder straps are attached with 1” side release buckles and can be changed to any after market straps, including our Adaptive Rig System Bravo.

The base of the rig is laser cut from two pieces of cordura laminate. While lamianate is twice as expensive as regular cordura (of which most rigs afe made from), it reduces the amount of seams which adds durability, reduces manufacturing time and makes the affordable pricing possible. The shock cords wear out after years of use but they are replaceable and the rig will last from father to son.
